Holiday Overload.
OMG - I can’t keep up! I havent even been able to tell you all about my Halloween costume (A faaaabulous Britney Spears if I must say) and there are christmas decorations in the windows across the street from me! The funny tid-bit I wanted to share there was that I wanted two baby dolls for her sons (Jaydan and Sean - obvi). And bizarrely had a lot of trouble finding any… And then...

Shoot! So last minute!! What do I dress up as for halloween?? MJ was my first thought, but will there be too many on the street?! Im always a fan of dressing as Britney Spears… Its amazing, shes always at such a different phase of her life, you can totally switch it up… I think she’s fit right now, and doing well. My dancer bod will work perfectly then ;). What else could I be???

I know I know, where have I been the past few days you wan to know? I’ve been around. I’ve been here in New York, watching the commercials shoot, eavesdropping on office gossip, sorting the mail and answering phones. I’ve also been to about 5 auditions, and have been good about going to dance classes. That’s a lot, right? And I totally...
Why I love this City.
So this is so classic here, but wouldnt happen anywhere (okay almost anywhere) else. I stpped in a magazine shop to buy gossip mags to read at the desk (shh, dont tell anyone), and the girl in front of me was buying a few things… So the man behind the counter grabs a blue plastic bag and starts to put her things in it. She, about six feet tall, 130 pounds, and eastern european (DEFINITELY a...
Question of the Day :
Someone told me today you have to live here 6 years to consider yourself a New Yorker, and I immediately thought of the quote on this page. Is this true!? Or is it like good ‘ole Thomas says — you instantly below? Wasnt I simultaneously in awe and jaded?? Doesnt that make me a New Yorker???
Nostalgia.
Beautiful fall days make me miss my home State of Vermont. Nothing says fall like New England Fall foliage and sweet maple syrup. Even if I did spot Anne Heche on Bleecker yesterday. And even if I did have an amazing boozy brunch today, curbside with girlfriends in the east village, and even if I do get to see my favorite indie band at Terminal 5 this week… Okay, it’s not so bad being...
Busy Bee.
Hi Everyone! I can’t believe its been over a week since I last posted — time really flies when you’re busy. And by busy I mean sort of busy?? Ive have a lot of auditions which I consider actual busyness. Running from one random midtown studio to the next—dodging tourist traffic in times square, sizing up other girls in the waiting rooms with me while they study the lines...

Audition Day...
Happy Monday! Just wanted to keep you all posted about my audition this AM. Sadly, no part for me… But I’ll be honest - I thought I read well. I mean, what else does it take? Im cute, young, and hit it out of the park (if I do say so myself!). Oh well… just more practice under the belt. Their loss, right?? Definately need that attidude in any creative field — stomach of...
One Sugar, Cream First, Hazelnut. Please.
So it’s a rainy Sunday in New York. I sort of wanted to hide in my bed all day long. I was out late at Bars—nothing wild and crazy, but enough to wipe the shine out of my rise. Anyway, despite the grayness I forced myself out of bed and down the street to my favorite coffee shop around the corner from my apartment, to go over lines for an audition I’m running to tomorrow AM...
Welcome To Hollywood...I mean New York...
So here I am. 24 years old, living in New York City, working my 9 to 5 and trying to make it in the acting world. Sounds familiar right? Well, maybe not so familiar if you don’t live in New York. If you’re in St. Louis, Missouri or Tampa, Florida, or Billings, Montana, 24 could mean a very different thing. Perhaps it’s more likely to mean that you’ve had your first child, or...
